Unity

Cisco Unity Unified Messaging lets you access email, voice, and fax messages from a single inbox anytime, anywhere. Standards-based Cisco Unity integrates with your network, communication applications, and clients. It is also supported on a VMware platform.

Unity Connection

Speech Connect for Cisco Unity Connection is a speech-enabled automated attendant for the enterprise. Internal or external callers can say the name of an employee into the phone and instantly be connected to that employee.
Speech Connect for Cisco Unity Connection's productivity-enhancing benefits include:

  • An advanced speech attendant for the numberless enterprise
  • Industry-leading speech recognition performance combined with the powerful Cisco Unity Connection messaging solution
  • Speech Connect is included with the Cisco Unity Connection appliance and application, adding value to your unified messaging solution
  • Speech Connect for Cisco Unity Connection can support all the employees in your directory, not just those using Unity Connection
  • A dialtone replacement with an immediate prompt of "Who would you like to reach?"

Unity Express

Available on select voice-enabled integrated services routers, Cisco Unity Express provides:

  • Affordable voice messaging and greeting services for better customer service and employee communications
  • Time-card data management with TimeCardView
  • Intuitive telephone prompts and a web-based interface for fast, convenient voicemail, autoattendant, and interactive voice response (IVR) administration
  • Ability to view, sort, search, and play back voice messages using a Cisco Unified IP Phone display or your email client
  • Scalability of up to 24 concurrent voicemail or autoattendant calls and 275 mailboxes

In addition, Survivable Remote Site Voicemail can help deliver and manage voice messages on a central server if the WAN goes down. It also restores them to the central server when the WAN is back online.

Available as a network module or advanced integration module, Cisco Unity Express is a simple addition to Cisco 1861, 2800, 2900, 3800, and 3900 Series routers.
