Media Gateways
Port networks connect across the globe through media gateways
of every size; from the smallest G150 for small branch offices
to the G700 and G650 for the largest enterprises.
G150
Media Gateway
Overview: The
G150 Media Gateway is designed for smaller-scale deployments
of small branch offices with 2-12 users. It is targeted
at price-sensitive customers with lower communication intensity
requirements, but still looking for a standard level of survivability. The
G150 includes a 4-port Layer 2 switch and can be configured
with an optional T1, PRI, BRI or WAN interface, as well as
survivable voicemail and an integrated 802.11b Access Point.
G250
Media Gateway
Overview: An enterprise branch
office gateway designed to serve the communications needs of
a small branch with 2 to 12 extensions. This gateway
allows organizations
to economically extend their headquarter communication
applications such as the Avaya Communication Manager
and the Avaya Modular Messaging out to their branch locations
to achieve lower overall costs and increased collaboration
across their entire organization.
G350
Media Gateways
Overview: A complete branch office
communications system ideally suited for enterprises with
locations that have 8-40 extensions. This advanced TDM/IP
architecture allows enterprises to benefit by leveraging
existing investments and evolving to cutting-edge telephony
that provides seamless connectivity and security.
G650
Media Gateways
Overview: Designed as the complementary
gateway for S8500/S8700-based media server solutions, the
G650 offer the features, scalability, and system uptime that
enterprises require for mission-critical telephony applications.
G700
Media Gateway
Overview: The G700, with advanced
TDM/IP architecture, the full capabilities of Avaya Communication
Manager, and an internal Ethernet switch, can be used as
a standalone solution or as a remote edge device ideally
suited for enterprises with locations that have 40-450 extensions.
