Unified TelData, Inc. Names Donald N. Thackery Eastern Regional Sales Director

This facility, which is the fifth UTDI site to commence operations, has the distinction of being the company’s first physical location outside the state of California.

Eastern Regional Sales Director Donald N. Thackery will steer the Alexandria, VA office in its mission. A 30-year industry veteran, Mr. Thackery will be responsible for managing all sales and marketing initiatives within the mid-Atlantic region, including Baltimore, MD, Washington, DC, Richmond, VA, and Virginia’s Tidewater locale. During his tenure with Avaya Inc., Mr. Thackery was a channel sales manager for the mid-Atlantic region and a national business development manager responsible for the rollout of data and voice-over-IP telephony products to the firm’s largest national business partner. In his new role with UTDI, Mr. Thackery seeks to equip public and private sector clients with technology designed to improve business communications. “Companies are discovering the tremendous leverage in merging separate voice and data networks, along with the powerful new capabilities that IP applications deliver for better serving their customers.
