UTDi Names Dave Hutto to Vice President of Technical Sales Team

September XX, 2008 – Unified TelData Inc., (UTDi) has announced the addition of Dave Hutto as Global Vice President, Technical Services. UTDi focuses on providing Intelligent Solutions for world-class communications to a broad range of customers and this latest addition to its professional team is expected to help drive the company’s global market growth.
In this new position, Hutto will develop, manage and direct UTDi’s Avaya, Cisco and Nortel VoIP service delivery team. He will also work with other company divisions to assess new and emerging technologies designed to improve overall telecommunications services and business solutions.
Hutto’s diverse operational experience in the delivery of voice and data solutions in the commercial, private and government sectors, as well as his leadership ability will enable UTDi technical teams to enhance their focus on individual business applications to deliver cost-effective solutions with world class attention to service excellence.
Prior to joining UTDi, Hutto served as Technical Operation Team Supervisor at George Washington University where he led technicians and engineers in the installation and maintenance of all voice, data, CATV, wireless and security cables, network switches and all infrastructure cabling and connection in data centers and Hub sites. George Washington University is the HAZ MAT Response Center for the White House and Camp David.
Hutto’s background also includes extensive experience in Program and Operations Management for Lucent Technologies. As Operations Manager, Hutto was assigned to the Executive Office of the President of the United States, WHCA, FDIC, Camp David and Department of State.
While in this position, Hutto was responsible for overseeing the integration and maintenance of all voice and data communications for the Office of the President, his staff and Foreign Dignitaries. He also supervised the computerization and modernization of cable/facilities records for Camp David and traveled with the White House Communication Agency to provide communications to the President and his staff.
His most recent work in Washington included a position with the Executive Office of the President as the Communication Consultant and Facilities Manager which was initiated when Hutto received Presidential orders to report to the White House after 9/11/01. In this position, Hutto implemented Disaster Recovery and Emergency Notification Systems, managed the installation and relocation of all PBX’s and facilitated Governor Ridge’s Department of Homeland Security location.
Hutto brings to UTDi an impressive skill set and experience in the industry, as well as extensive certifications. He is currently working to earn his Certification in Project Management from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He has also received certification in all areas of Fiber, PBXs, Voice Messaging and Cisco Servers from AT&T Bell Labs, as well as Certifications on various hardware and software from Colorado Computer Institute.
