UTDi Looks to Strong Future with New Hires in Key Positions

Unified TelData Inc., (UTDi) has added some key players to its team, seeking to expand its current knowledge in the field and increase the value of its offering to a nationwide client base. By attracting professionals from within the industry, UTDi has been able to increase sales over last year’s record breaking growth and will be well positioned for the highly anticipated market recovery.

 Samuel Golden is an Avaya alum who performed the duties of a Convergence Applications Architect for the global provider. As a professional well-versed in SIP based architectures and application-based SIP services in multi-vendor environments, Samuel brings considerable strength to the position of Solution Architect/Sales Engineer. An Avaya Certified Engineer, Samuel has worked with global clients such as Nike, eBay, and the Gap and brings this extensive knowledge to UTDi.

Georgia Wenger joins UTDi as a Solution Architect/Sales Engineer. Her extensive experience includes sales support for the Unified Communications portfolio for the direct and indirect channel sales teams for Avaya. Georgia also created and delivered training programs that support customer demos, respond to technical questions from the channel, develop proposals and create standard company-wide processes for assessing complex converged network designed. With this wealth of industry experience and knowledge, UTDi is excited to have Georgia on board.

As a professional with more than 16 years experience with Avaya, Lucent Technologies and Bell System, Michael Fulton joins UTDi as a Software Specialist. Michael’s experience in these specialized environments lends to his expertise in determining client needs and designing the best solution to meet demands. His complex background and extensive certifications make him well-versed in Avaya technologies, expanding upon the value that UTDi can offer to enterprise clients.

Allen Derr comes to UTDi as a Sr. Systems Engineer/Software Specialist. Having worked with Lucent and Avaya, Allen brings more than 25 years experience in the dynamic field of network communications. He has performed critical functions for designing, installing, configuring and maintaining all lab equipment as well as working as a Tier 4 tech for more than 10 years. Having focused on the development of custom software features for Avaya solutions, Allen brings a wealth of insight and expertise to the company.

William (Bill) Charter has joined UTDi as a Global Solutions Specialist. Bill sought out a position with UTDi as he has a proven track record of attaining high results through understanding customer needs and he wanted to work in a growing environment where such contributions were recognized and rewarded. Having worked with such key companies as Qwest, RBC Technologies and AT&T, Bill brings considerable value to the UTDi team.

Janet Drew comes to UTDi as a Global Solutions Specialist. With more than 15 years experience in the telecom industry with a keen insight into the network integration and application of market leading telephony and data solutions. Her consultative experience with Nortel, Avaya, Nuance and NEC give her a wealth of knowledge in relation to client environments and solutions that are designed to meet everyday challenges. This approach in the UTDi environment will lend great strength to building value in customer interactions and Janet will be key to such initiatives.

Cory Albert joined the UTDi team having worked with industry leaders supporting the Cisco product line. As a Systems Engineer/Sales Engineer, Cory brings a wealth of experience in voice and networking. As a Network Engineer for FusionStorm, Cory deployed single and multi-site IP Telephony and Unified Communications Solution. He gained specific certifications in CCVP, CCNP, and as an IP Contact Center Express Specialist. With an extensive skill-set that compliments UTDi’s networking initiatives moving forward, Corey brings significant value to the UTDi team.

Finally, Armando Avilez has signed on with UTDi as a Global Solutions Specialist. With an extensive background in the telecom/networking industry with such multinational enterprises as Cisco, Armando brings considerable knowledge and experience to the consulting role. His ability to identify with the needs of his customers and deliver the right solutions will enhance the value of UTDi offerings.
