Unified TelData Expands San Francisco Headquarters

Unified TelData, (UTDi) a National Avaya Platinum Business Partner, announced the expansion of its headquarters to include a state of the art Client Briefing Center.

San Francisco, July 2, 2007 – UTDi, the 25 year old San Francisco based IP Technology Company announced expansion plans nation-wide as well as a new Technology Center for client demonstrations and briefings.  UTDi, which has boasted a distribution based testing facility, will now also offer an in-house briefing facility.  "We consider this a 3 phased approach to our solutions architecture." said CEO Lyhn Haller.  UTDi, known for their ability to design, manage, execute and service their client’s voice & data solutions, has now developed a closed loop process for supporting client requests.

"First our Solution Architects meet with our clients to design the latest in converged solutions.  Most of our clients today want to flatten and consolidate,” explained CEO Lyhn Haller.  “They are looking to bring their data networks together with their voice applications utilizing VoIP and SIP technology.  In most cases the designs include wireless solutions, mobility workers, contact centers and unified messaging.  We bring them into our technology center where they can see the latest developments in converged applications.  Once the design is finalized, we assemble and test their solutions in our distribution based staging and testing facility.” 

UTDi, who has always maintained an internal professional services team, was a pioneer in using a lab environment to burn in and test equipment before delivery to customer sites. ”The value of this is that it eliminates product failures at time of install.” said Haller.  “We run our systems fully loaded for 3 days prior to shipment to the customer site. Our lab has evolved over the past 25 years.  Our newest distribution based facility provides centralized testing to support our global client base using the highest quality assurance standards and a rigid process to ensure all of the latest patches are loaded and equipment is tested prior to deployment. UTDI customers expect to have their business communications operate at a standard of excellence, and we consider that standard to be world-class in nature."
