Pleasanton, CA is Home to Newest Unified TelData Branch Office

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Tuesday, February 1, 2005 San Francisco, CA --- Continuing to expand its reach by opening new branch offices, Unified TelData, Inc. (UTDI) today established a brick-and-mortar presence in Pleasanton, CA at 7901 Stoneridge Drive.  An Avaya Platinum Business Partner headquartered in San Francisco, UTDI’s other California branch locations include Costa Mesa, and Santa Rosa.  In October of 2004 the company opened a facility in Alexandria, VA.

The Pleasanton location will help UTDI solidify its relationships with East Bay area clients as well as with Avaya Inc.  “Our new space is only minutes away from Avaya’s Pleasanton office.  The proximity between our sites was a key factor in selecting this new space.  Our intention is to work closely with the Avaya sales and support organizations, creating a strong alliance that will build customer trust and loyalty in UTDI and Avaya,” described UTDI President Lyhn Haller.  The new office is designated as “Class A,” a rating which connotes premier commercial space in terms of quality, systems, and accessibility.

Regional Sales Director Wes Joines will be responsible for managing the Pleasanton branch.  A resident of San Jose, Mr. Joines came to UTDI from a global telecommunications firm where he held the post of general manager.  During his tenure with that firm, he led his division to profitability by creating internal efficiencies and product line improvements.  Mr. Joines spearheaded a national sales organization responsible for 200% growth in sales.  “I am delighted with my challenges in this new role.  UTDI already has the best product portfolio within the telecom industry.  As we build a sales team in Pleasanton, I am confident this business community will come to rely on UTDI as its technology resource,” Mr. Joines explained.
