Outside Sales - Account Executive

Our growing company is looking to fill positions for Account Executives. Geographic area of focus includes, but is not restricted to the State of California. The chosen candidates can work out of either our San Francisco or Pleasanton offices, or both!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for prospecting and maintaining new and existing accounts state & local Sectors |
|
Design and sell Voice and Data solutions from the industry leaders: Avaya, Cisco, Nortel. |
|
Develop and maintain relationships with Partners, Senior Executives and Managers. |
|
Consistently achieve quarterly quota by utilizing telemarketing skills, market research, and networking opportunities. |
|
Increase sales by generating proposals, initiating and presenting business solutions, providing equipment demonstrations/site visits, and successfully negotiating agreements. |
|
Develop marketing, targeting, and pricing strategies that meet the company strategic goals. |
|
Maintain customer databases and sales/performance tracking tools. |
|
Develop/maintain/report on territory Management Objectives (MBO’s). |
|
As required maintain certain manufacturers Sales and Product Certifications. |
QUALIFICATIONS:
|
Bachelor’s degree - technical degree strongly preferred but not required or the equivalent of at least 3-5+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in the voice or data solutions industry. |
|
Experience developing leads through networking, referrals and in making cold calls. |
|
Strong presentation skills – can convince potential customers they are worth meeting with, listening to and purchasing from. |
|
Verifiable track record of top performance. |
|
Self-starter, motivated, result oriented. |
|
Ability to close sales. |
|
Knowledge and sales experience with Avaya, Cisco or Nortel product lines is strongly desired. |
