Join the fast paced, highly recognized world of converged voice and data sales, and work in outside sales for UTDI, an award-winning partner to telecommunication industry leaders Altigen, Avaya- Platinum, Cisco, and Nortel.
Essential Functions
|
Responsible for prospecting and maintaining new and existing accounts in the commercial sector, state/local government/education (SLE) sectors, and the U.S. Federal Government. |
|
Develop and maintain relationships with Partners, Senior Executives and Managers. |
|
Consistently achieve quarterly quota by utilizing telemarketing skills, market research, and networking opportunities. |
|
Increase sales by generating proposals, initiating and presenting business solutions, providing equipment demonstrations/site visits, and successfully negotiating agreements. |
|
Develop marketing, targeting, and pricing strategies that meet the company strategic goals. |
|
Maintain customer databases and sales/performance tracking tools. |
|
Develop/maintain/report on territory Management Objectives (MBO’s). |
|
As required maintain certain manufacturers Sales and Product Certifications. |
Qualifications
|
Bachelors degree - technical degree strongly preferred by not required. |
|
At least 4-7 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry. |
|
Experience developing leads through networking, referrals and in making cold calls. |
|
Strong presentation skills – can convince potential customers they are worth meeting with, listening to and purchasing from. |
|
Verifiable track record of top performance. |
|
Self-starter, motivated, result oriented. databases and sales/performance tracking tools. |
|
Ability to close sales. |
|
Knowledge and sales experience with Altigen, Avaya, Cisco or Nortel product lines is strongly desired. |
